Just because we live in the same country, does not mean that we are 1 hour drives away from each other.  Like, take this map for example  Australia is bloody huge, ok?
You cant just… visit someone in another state/city without taking a huge drive across nowhereland for several hours. It isnt as simple as people put it.

Wow… I knew Australia was big, but goddamn. NEVER LISTENING TO ANYONE’S COMPLAINTS ABOUT HAVING TO TRAVEL WITHIN THEIR OWN COUNTRY AGAIN. I live in Sydney, just to visit my parents I have to travel 3 -4 hours each way. To go to Melbourne or Brisbane on a train is about 13 hours each way. THIS PLACE IS HUGE.
