Fatshion February. I keep forgetting to take photos.

Top: David Lawrence at Myer, XL. Originally $100 but there was a sale and I had a voucher so I only paid $25. Still, I don’t wear it much because basically I am terrified I’ll ruin it. I already hand washed instead if dry cleaning as re the label and it grew, so the neck fold thingy sits funny. Oh well.

Skirt: made by me. It’s a hacked Burdastyle Kasia, no pockets or ruching, and a back zip. Stretch drill.

Shoes: rivers. They were cheap but they are not at all comfortable.

Also my house is a dark, dark cave. Next house I’m having dramatically lit full length mirrors in every room.

Ootd: no good pictures. I tried all day to take photos and was thwarted at every turn. Good enough.

Top: tag says Katie’s M. I must have had this for almost ten years now.

Skirt: DIY circle skirt in heavy jersey.

Leggings: autograph size S.

And I cut my hair off! It’s much cooler.

Ootd, finally Friday edition.
Top: jayjays men’s M

Pants: self made. Pattern is Colette’s Jasime, fabric is cotton linen.

Shoes: liberty bensimons from Asos.

I’m like 99% sure I’m going to shave my hair off on the weekend.

Fatshion feb ootd: nowhere to be, leggings as pants edition.

Got a day off and I plan on aggressively not leaving the house today.

Tshirt: jayjays men’s M.
Leggings: best and less probably.
Hair: on short notice. I’m thinking if shaving it all off again.

Ootd. It’s more ‘flattering’ pulled up but like a million times comfortable if the waistband sits in the groove between my two stomach bits (all y’all fat ladies know what I mean right?) so that’s how I’m wearing it.

Top: rivers XL

skirt: DIY simple circle skirt

Leggings: best and less

Shoes: Birkenstocks from eBay.

Annoyed that you can’t buy clothes in your size? Use the Clothes Calling Card. The Clothes Calling Card Campaign (CCC) is a collaboration between @dreyafean@allygarrett@coleytangerinaand @merxplat to raise awareness of how many people love fashion but are left out of ‘mainstream’ sizing.

The card is intentionally designed to be applicable to all clothing items, and for people of all sizes who experience exclusion from clothing stores.

Feel free to personalise your card, and use which ever one you feel most comfortable with.

Hopefully, together we can start a conversation about how many people would love to spend money on clothes they like, but aren’t deemed desirable customers by too many designers and stores.

The CCC reminds those people what they’re missing out on.

You can contact the campaign at callingcardcampaign@gmail.com if you like.
